To Use Desktop Computer with TV
- To display computer image on TV, use the Control Panel on top of instructor station. (Pictured above).
- Press and hold Display On button for two seconds. Button will blink, indicating that the TV is turning on.
- Press PC button on input selector of control panel.
- The computer image should appear on screen.
- Adjust volume, if needed, with volume knob on control panel.
- To temporarily mute the image, press the VIDEO MUTE button on the control panel.
- When finished, log off computer, then press the Display Off button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking.
- Plug the HDMI cable (use appropriate adapter for your laptop’s port if needed) into your laptop.
- Turn on laptop.
- To display laptop image on projector, use the Control Panel on top of lectern. (Pictured above) Press and hold Display On button for two seconds. Button will blink, indicating that the TV is turning on.
- Press the Laptop button on the control panel input selector.
- Laptop image should appear on screen.
- If needed, adjust volume with knob on Control Panel. If audio does not work, try unplugging and re-plugging the adapter into your laptop.
- To temporarily mute the image, press the VIDEO MUTE button on the control panel.
- When finished, turn off and unplug laptop, then press the Display Off button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking. Projector will then turn off.
- Turn on BluRay player, located inside the equipment rack. It will play standard DVDs, as well as BluRays.
- To display DVD image on TV, use Control Panel on top of instructor station. (Pictured above)
- Press and hold Display On button for two seconds. Button will blink, indicating that the projector is turning on.
- Press the BluRay button on Control Panel input selector.
- Insert DVD in the DVD drive.
- Operate DVD player with the provided remote control.
- Adjust volume using knob on Control Panel.
- When finished, press the Display OFF button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking. Eject DVD and turn off DVD player.
- On the Extron control panel (pictured above), press and hold (for 2 seconds) the Display ON button and wait while the TV starts up.
- Push the APPLE TV button.
- Apple TV provides the ability to wirelessly project the contents of your smartphone, table, or laptop to the TV.
- Connect your device to the Kenyon wifi network.
- Once connected, follow the instructions on the TV screen. In addition to the Ditto app, you can screencast your device directly from your Apple device by selecting the AirPlay (or screen mirroring), and then select the Apple TV for the room in which you are presenting. It will display a code which you must input to your device.
- Your device's image should now appear on the projector screen.
- When finished, disconnect and turn off the projector by pressing the Display Off button at the top of the control panel.
